Today, visitors can gaze upon the serene land, which features a mustard-colored farmhouse, outbuildings, and accompanying barns. Park off Strang Road and start your 1.5-mile loop trail through the area.
In addition to views of the farmstead, this lovely loop hike takes visitors through plenty of forested splendor, past peaceful streams, and through quiet fields. You might just be inclined to bring along your camera.
For even more adventure, check out the Universal Access Trail at DeYoung Natural Area. This half-mile jaunt leads hikers to frontage along Cedar Lake, a popular spot for fishing and outdoor reflection galore.
